It's finally started. That which is most sacred in Canada, the one day a year where we all put our differences aside and stand together as Canadians in memory and reverence for the heroes who gave their lives for us, is no longer above desecrating. If just a few years ago, you said that the rise of cultural marxism (wokeism) within our institutions, mass immigration from backwards cultures such as that of Islam or Indian "Khalistan" would result in massive segments of our population AND our government institutions desecrating Remembrance Day, many would not have taken you seriously.
Remembrance Day and the love and respect we have for our heroes is above politics, above division, and will always be held sacred in Canada. That is what we all believed at least.
Remembrance Day 2024 however, was not above politics, it was not above division, and for the first time ever, we saw it being used to spread hate for Canada and love for evil on a significant scale.
There were many egregious incidents that occurred on November 11th this year. Here are a few that have been brought to light on social media:
A public high school in Ottawa played an Arab Palestinian protest song (and not a single other song), making their Remembrance Day more about the conflict in Gaza than about honouring Canada's veterans. The school's Principal Aaron Hobbs claimed that the song was chosen to bring diversity and inclusion to Remembrance Day that is usually only about “a white guy who has done something related to the military.”
A public elementary school in Nova Scotia told Canadian Forces service members not to wear their uniforms to the school's Remembrance Day ceremony in order to avoid making foreign students uncomfortable.
A York University lecturer recorded herself shouting “Fuck you” to Canadian veterans during a Remembrance Day procession.
Protestors hijacked Kingston, Ontario's Remembrance Day ceremony to spread their message about the war in Gaza.
The Remembrance Day ceremony in Saanich B.C. included a reading from the Quran and no other holy book.
Several Remembrance Day ceremonies, including Toronto's, went beyond a breif land acknowledgement and lectured Canadian veterans about exploitation of indigenous people's and Canada's role in slavery, despite Canada having almost zero slaves throughout it's colonial history and serving as a place of refuge for African slaves from the United States.
The worst however, is yet to come, as bona fide Islamic terrorist supporters are planning to hold a vigil for the killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on November 26 in Mississauga with the support of Mississauga mayor Carolyn Parrish who compared the genocidal terrorist to Nelson Mandela. The poster for the vigil, shown below, uses Remembrance Day iconography such as the poppy and the phrase "Lest we forget our heroes".
Mass immigration means more than depressed wages, job scarcity, restricted access to health care, and unaffordable housing. It also means losing our identity and forgetting those who fought and DIED for us to be free and prosperous, especially when we allow in those who have murderous hate for us and our country such that they would shout "Death to Canada" and promote terrorism in our streets. Mass immigration means squandering and giving up what our veterans intended for us to keep and to cherish, and thus making a mockery of their memory. It means creating a demented, demoralized, and explicitly un-Canadian future for Canada that would perhaps make many of our heroes regret the ultimate sacrifices they made for us if they could be here to see what we have become.
We cannot be ashamed who we are, or the generations before us who made our country great. We cannot be afraid to assert ourselves in our own country at a time when masses of hostile foreigners are jubilantly asserting their hate for us on our streets.
We can only expect things to get worse exponentially if we don't take a stand against this vile wickedness now. We don't have time to treat hostile foreign invaders with kid gloves. We can either take action now or wait until we are powerless to stop what is coming. It's time to FIGHT.
Long live Canada.
